Senior Consultant / Manager - Insurance

About the role

Sia Partners, a global management consulting firm with offices in 31 locations, is expanding its Asia business and is looking for a Senior Consultant to join its Insurance department in Singapore. You will help build the office's expertise and guarantee the quality of delivery, leading client projects in the insurance sector while working with the global network.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in projects with leading businesses in the insurance sector and contribute hands-on to client project execution.
• Gather stories and business requirements, analyse them deeply and look for gaps or areas for improvement.
• Clarify business requirements, test them and make sure they are reflected in the system design.
• Evaluate the feasibility of process improvements and work with IT developers and business stakeholders so requirements are clearly understood.
• Support and manage UAT, end-to-end and regression testing, and defect troubleshooting.
• Document and track key decisions and requirements in Jira.
• Share consulting best practices, take part in cross-selling initiatives and help recruit future consultants.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Economics, Business or Finance.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in management consulting and/or the insurance industry.
• Experience delivering change in top-tier insurance companies; banking experience is a plus.
• Strong entrepreneurial drive for client and business development.

Required skills

• Good understanding of insurance products, processes and technologies, including insurtech and fintech.
• Effective communication with IT and business stakeholders.
