Senior Consultant - Regulatory & Compliance, Financial Services

About the role

Sia Partners is an independent management and operational strategy consulting firm with more than 850 consultants and an international presence. Its Asia team is growing and is looking for a Senior Consultant to join the Regulatory and Compliance department in Singapore. You will deliver strategic and operational regulatory advisory for banking and finance clients, helping to build the office's expertise and ensure high-quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in projects with leading banks and financial institutions, working hands-on on client projects.
• Contribute to project execution, content development and business development, with a focus on high-standard client delivery.
• Work with other offices and use the global network for cross-selling and knowledge sharing.
• Share consulting best practices with the team and take part in recruiting future consultants.
• Work on projects such as regulatory transformation (impact of regulation on investment banks and capital markets) and business improvement (process study, mapping and reengineering, performance management).

Required profile

• Ideally a background as a management consultant for banks or providing regulatory advisory for banking and finance clients.
• Ideally experience advising on MAS regulatory compliance, and work on topics such as MIFID II, FATCA, CRS, Volcker Rule, BCBS 239, AML and KYC.
• Ability to lead and manage multiple complex projects and to manage and convince senior business stakeholders.
• Ability to drive business decisions, accelerate delivery and escalate risks and issues.
• Bachelor or equivalent in Economics, Business or Finance; 4-5 years' experience in management consulting and/or financial services preferred.
