Senior Development Partner, AI

About the role

This role sits within Enterprise Singapore's Digital Industry Singapore (DISG) team, the joint office of Enterprise Singapore, EDB and IMDA. DISG develops Singapore's digital economy by partnering technology companies to create competitive products and services for regional and global markets. The position combines company account management with AI sector development, covering programme delivery, ecosystem building and enterprise development.

Key responsibilities

• Account development and management: build and manage a portfolio of high-growth technology companies, including AI start-ups, supporting their innovation, commercialisation, internationalisation and growth from Singapore, and act as the single point of contact for assigned accounts.
• Engage founders, C-suite leaders and management teams to understand their growth plans and identify relevant partnerships, customers, investors, talent and government support.
• Coordinate across DISG, government agencies and ecosystem partners to deliver company-level projects and market opportunities.
• AI sector development: deliver initiatives that strengthen Singapore's digital industry with government agencies, trade associations and industry partners.
• Provide industry input into programmes and policies, and work with Enterprise Singapore's Global Markets teams on overseas opportunities for Singapore-based companies.
• Develop and manage facilitative platforms that match AI companies with demand owners across priority sectors, contributing to Singapore's AI Missions.
• Develop and manage AI accelerator programmes with hyperscalers, frontier AI companies and innovation partners, focusing on capability-building and commercial outcomes.
• Build partnerships with venture capital firms, universities, industry partners and government agencies, and turn national AI priorities into enterprise development, adoption and commercialisation opportunities.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in the technology industry, with a background in account or business development, investment, programme management, management consulting or technology commercialisation; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Candidates with technical AI experience and the ability to assess the technical feasibility, differentiation and maturity of AI applications are advantageous.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder-management and communication skills, able to engage senior business leaders, founders, technology leaders, investors, researchers and government partners.
• Ability to understand company and sector needs, assess technologies and solutions and turn them into commercial opportunities, partnerships and practical interventions.
• A proactive team player who can manage multiple priorities and wants to help build Singapore's technology industry.
