Senior Development Partner, Quantum

About the role

This role sits within Enterprise Singapore's Digital Industry Singapore (DISG) team, the joint office of Enterprise Singapore, EDB and IMDA. DISG develops Singapore's digital economy by partnering technology companies to create competitive products and services for regional and global markets. The position combines company account management with quantum-sector development, covering programme delivery, ecosystem building and enterprise development.

Key responsibilities

• Account development and management: build and manage a portfolio of high-growth technology companies, including quantum start-ups, as their single point of contact, supporting their innovation, commercialisation, internationalisation and growth from Singapore.
• Engage founders, C-suite leaders and management teams to understand their growth plans and identify partnerships, pilots, customers, investors and government support.
• Coordinate across DISG, government agencies, research and venture-building partners and industry stakeholders to deliver company-level projects and unlock market opportunities.
• Digital industry sector development: deliver initiatives that strengthen Singapore's digital industry, give industry input into programmes and policies, and work with Global Markets teams to develop overseas opportunities for Singapore-based companies.
• Quantum sector development: raise awareness, facilitate training, turn industry problem statements into experimentation opportunities, and enable pilots or proofs of concept.
• Strengthen companies in critical infrastructure and other sectors with knowledge of quantum communication and quantum-safe applications.
• Build ecosystem partnerships with government agencies, universities, venture capital firms, trade associations, Quantum Association Singapore and international partners.
• Work with MDDI and other agencies to support the rollout of National Quantum Strategy 2027 initiatives, including a physical quantum hub.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in the technology industry, with a background in account or business development, investment, programme management, management consulting or deep-tech commercialisation; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Experience or demonstrated knowledge of quantum technologies is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder-management and communication skills, able to engage senior business leaders, founders, researchers, investors and government partners.
• Ability to understand company and sector needs, assess technologies and solutions and turn them into commercial opportunities, partnerships and practical interventions.
• A proactive team player who can manage multiple priorities and contributes to building Singapore's technology industry.
