Senior DevOps Engineer – Cloud & SRE

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a fast‑growing, multi‑strategy buy‑side firm focused on expanding its Asia footprint. The role will own high‑availability systems that support our core offices in Singapore and Hong Kong, and will drive reliability, scalability and automation across our cloud platform.

Key responsibilities

• Infrastructure scaling: manage, scale and optimise cloud and orchestration infrastructure using AWS, Kubernetes and ArgoCD.
• Pipeline automation: own and continuously improve robust CI/CD pipelines for seamless code deployment.
• Site reliability (SRE): act proactively to maintain health, performance and resilience of production‑grade trading systems.
• System ownership: take end‑to‑end responsibility for critical production infrastructure with a self‑starter mindset.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, ArgoCD and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong scripting abilities in Python and Bash for complex automation tasks.
• Self‑starter attitude with the ability to manage critical, production‑grade infrastructure.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with sophisticated internal user groups.
• Experience in latency‑sensitive environments and low‑level infrastructure optimisation (e.g., machine and CPU tuning) is highly desirable.
