Senior Electrical Design Engineer

About the role

Schneider Electric Singapore is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead the technical content of customer projects. You will ensure that all electrical design solutions meet performance, quality, cost and schedule requirements while complying with Singapore regulations and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the single point of contact for all technical aspects of projects, translating customer requirements into detailed designs.
• Lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary technical team, including customer designers and internal engineers.
• Develop, review and approve basic and detailed electrical designs in line with contract specifications.
• Manage technical risks, interfaces and budgets, and ensure timely delivery of design, implementation and testing activities.
• Oversee Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE and NEMA standards.
• Obtain final customer approval for the integrated solution and ensure regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in leading electrical design projects in an industrial or automation environment.
• Strong understanding of Singapore statutory requirements and international standards (IEC, IEEE, NEMA).
• Excellent coordination and communication skills with stakeholders across multiple sites.
