Senior Engineer – Electro‑Acoustic Development (EMS/ESD)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join our Electro‑Acoustic Development (EAD) team in Singapore. You will work closely with cross‑functional product teams to design and bring next‑generation hearing‑aid devices to market.

Key responsibilities

• Design complex hearing‑aid concepts using advanced software tools and measurement setups.
• Introduce new technologies for behind‑the‑ear (BTE) and receiver‑in‑canal (RIC) hearing aids.
• Develop, evaluate, troubleshoot and optimise electrical performance and EMC solutions.
• Conduct quality and safety verification in line with ANSI, FDA Class 2 and other international standards.
• Ensure product robustness and compliance with electrical and EMC regulations.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency in PCB schematic and layout review for noise, interference and immunity control.
• Strong analytical and systematic product‑design thinking.
• Familiarity with basic safety, EMS, ESD and EMC regulations in MedTech R&D.
• Experience with electromagnetic modelling tools such as CST (preferred).
• Hands‑on experience with FMEA, Design for Manufacturability and Design for Cost.
• MATLAB and scripting skills for testing and data analysis.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
