Senior Engineer - F10 Facilities Control

About the role

Micron is hiring a Senior Engineer for its F10 facilities control team. The role leads on-site smart facility transformation and implementation of smart facility projects, and supervises preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical equipment and instrumentation and control systems. It also covers troubleshooting, root cause analysis, outsourced services and equipment records.

Key responsibilities

• Lead on-site smart facility transformation and smart facility project implementation with other Micron sites, departments and sections
• Plan, schedule and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance, and reassign resources when needed
• Troubleshoot abnormalities in support of operations and lead root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, including installation and modification work
• Support engineering and tool installation, generate and maintain scope-of-work documentation for outsourced contracts, and manage outsourced providers
• Document work orders and equipment history, maintain maintenance records, track spare parts and consumables, and raise purchase requisitions
• Follow environmental, safety, health, quality and good housekeeping policies, report injuries and near misses, and take part in safety training and incident investigations
• Train and coach the maintenance team, lead toolbox meetings, and review maintenance performance for continual improvement
• Use AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency and quality, and share AI-enabled improvements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronics/computer engineering and equivalent experience
• At least 2 years of experience in maintenance practices, procedures and installation work
• At least 2 years of experience in PLC and SCADA programming
• Team player with good problem-solving skills and understanding of data analysis methods
• Knowledge of handheld tools, portable and panel measuring devices, and ability to read schematics and single-line drawings
• Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role-appropriate AI literacy
