Senior Engineer - F10 Facility Control

About the role

Micron is hiring a Senior Engineer for its F10 facility control team. The role leads on-site smart facility transformation and the implementation of smart facility projects, working with other Micron sites, departments and sections. It covers supervision of preventive and corrective maintenance of instrumentation and control systems, troubleshooting, and maintenance of equipment and systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead on-site smart facility transformation and smart facility project implementation with other Micron sites, departments and sections
• Plan, schedule and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of instrumentation and control systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve abnormalities in a timely way, and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Manage outsourced service providers in line with their service agreements
• Document work orders and equipment history, maintain maintenance records and track spare parts and consumables
• Prepare purchase requisitions for repairs and maintenance, and follow safety, environmental and quality policies
• Train and coach the maintenance team, run toolbox meetings and prepare SOPs, risk assessments and energy isolation procedures
• Take part in emergency response training and drills

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronics or computer engineering and equivalent experience
• At least 3 years of experience in PLC control, instrumentation and SCADA systems, and in maintenance practices and control system installation (PLC, gas detection, instrumentation)
• Good problem-solving skills, understanding of data analysis methods, and ability to work in a team
• Knowledge of handheld tools, portable and panel measuring devices, and of schematics and single-line drawings
• AI literacy: applying AI tools responsibly to research, analysis and operational tasks
