Senior Engineer Integration & Yield

About the role

GlobalFoundries, a full-service semiconductor foundry, is hiring a Senior Engineer Integration & Yield in Woodlands, Singapore. The role focuses on metrology recipes, inline monitoring and defect analysis to support production yield.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimize metrology recipes for various semiconductor processes, ensuring they are accurate and efficient for production needs.
• Develop and execute strategies for process monitoring, sampling and continuous improvement (CIP).
• Collaborate with integration, module engineering teams and suppliers to identify and eliminate defect sources, designing and running experiments and extracting insights from complex data sets.
• Lead and train assistant engineers to carry out daily inline monitoring tasks.
• Establish inspection methodologies and best-known methods (BKM) for metrology processes.
• Perform in-line characterization and validation of metrology recipes.

Required profile

• Diploma, degree or higher in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or another related technical field.
• At least 4 years of experience with Rudolph and KLA bright-field defect metrology tools (DRSEM) and inline applications (Discovery) for root cause detection.
• Ability to support production on weekends if required.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills to work across functions and geographical teams.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, goal-driven, able to work under pressure, tight timelines and limited resources.
