Senior Executive, Agency Accounting (2-year contract)

About the role

The Senior Executive, Agency Accounting will support the implementation of the BRIM project and ensure accurate financial reporting across the global headquarters. This 2‑year contract role combines system testing, data validation, and month‑end closing activities with stakeholder coordination and documentation maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in system testing, data validation, and issue tracking for the BRIM project implementation.
• Maintain and update documentation, including training guides and reference materials.
• Follow up with stakeholders on assigned tasks and track progress to ensure timely completion.
• Perform reconciliations and prepare reports related to BRIM transactions.
• Support month‑end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor outstanding items and coordinate with stakeholders for resolution.
• Review data and reports prior to submission, highlighting observations and recommending improvements.
• Liaise with internal teams across GHQ, RHQ, and country offices on operational and project matters.
• Support training sessions and knowledge‑sharing initiatives within the team.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting operations, preferably agency accounting.
• Strong understanding of reconciliation, financial reporting and month‑end closing processes.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP system implementation; BRIM or similar project experience is a plus.
• Highly detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proactive, independent worker with excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• SAP BRIM (or similar ERP) implementation experience.
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets analysis, including pivot tables.
• Looker and Power BI reporting tools.
