Senior / Executive Architect – MRT Projects

About the role

The Senior/Executive Architect will lead schematic design and coordination for enhancement works on existing MRT station buildings and related infrastructure. You will drive projects from concept through construction, ensuring high‑quality architectural solutions and a sustainable transport environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop schematic design proposals and manage coordination of MRT station enhancement works.
• Prepare tender specifications, conduct feasibility studies and produce project documentation.
• Liaise and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Oversee design and site management of architectural aspects throughout the project lifecycle.
• Write funding proposals, prepare presentations, and review developer plan submissions and contractor shop drawings.

Required profile

• Recognised architectural qualification (Board of Architects, Singapore preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of architectural design and practice experience.
• Strong knowledge of BIM and CAD tools (AutoCAD, SketchUp, MicroStation, Revit).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, multitask and manage time effectively.
• Interest in design problem‑solving; rail project experience is an advantage.
