Senior Executive - Clinical Research Officer, Operations

About the role

LKCMedicine, the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, is recruiting a Senior Executive (Clinical Research Officer, Operations) to join the Health for Life in Singapore (HELIOS) Study team. HELIOS is a flagship Singapore population health study jointly conducted by LKCMedicine, National Healthcare Group and Imperial College of London, profiling the health and behaviour of up to 100,000 people through surveys, physical and functional measurements and biomarker testing.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain clear, professional communication with study participants and guide them through the study so they complete all required assessments.
• Administer questionnaires and collect sample and physiological data accurately and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures quickly to minimise disruption to study operations.
• Monitor consumables and study supplies and flag needs for replenishment.
• Ensure strict adherence to study protocols, including the Code Blue Response SOP, and follow Good Clinical Practice and HBRA requirements.
• Work closely with Team Leads and colleagues, and develop skills across all aspects of the study.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Allied Health Sciences, Biomedical Sciences or a related field; diploma holders with relevant experience may also apply.
• Ability to work independently with high motivation, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
• Fluent spoken and written English; fluency in Tamil, Malay, Chinese or dialects is an advantage.

Required skills

• Phlebotomy skills are an advantage.
