Senior Executive, Express Services

About the role

Sentosa Express Services, under the Service Accessibility and Transport Department, employs a Senior Executive to support the operations, maintenance and asset management of the Sentosa Express monorail system. The role covers contract management with long-term contractors and OEMs, data-led predictive maintenance, overhaul and upgrade projects, incident investigations and root cause analysis, and knowledge management, with the aim of ensuring system safety, reliability and service excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Engage OEMs and term contractors to understand fault causes and develop preventive measures
• Manage the life cycle of assets, licensing and regulatory matters for the monorail system
• Liaise with term contractors to meet daily train operation needs and manage zone upkeep
• Ensure safety policies are applied across all operations and manage operational impacts of island activities, events, holidays and construction works
• Monitor and supervise contractors' preventive and corrective maintenance against schedules, checklists and contract requirements
• Assist procurement, including tender specifications, variation orders and direct contracting
• Work with Operations staff on daily issues such as train shut-ins and service disruptions
• Perform duty officer duties on shift rosters and ad-hoc maintenance, including weekends and public holidays
• Take part in system overhaul, upgrade and improvement works, and ensure regular spare inventory and workplace safety audits by contractors

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in electrical, electronic or mechanical engineering, or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years of experience in management and maintenance of electrical, electronic or mechanical systems
• Experience with transit or monorail systems is an advantage
• Familiarity with data analytics tools and software
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, team player, service-oriented, committed and self-motivated
