Senior Executive, Facilities Project Services

About the role

NHG is looking for a Senior Executive to plan and manage hospital projects so that they meet cost, time and quality targets, statutory requirements and corporate goals. The role reports to the Director, Facilities Management Office and sits under the Head of Department, Facilities Project Services.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct feasibility studies, analyse infrastructure construction costs, prepare estimated budgets and project schedules.
• Collate, update and administer building plans and architectural drawings.
• Carry out feasibility studies and concept plans for new facilities.
• Provide design and project engineering support and general technical advice.
• Manage development projects so that completions stay within the desired time, cost and quality standards.
• Implement controls and procedures for documentation of records and plans, and run periodic audits of drawings and document control.
• Assist the Head of Department in cost control and day-to-day administration, and carry out system studies to improve departmental procedures.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Project Management or a building-related discipline.
• At least 3 years of post-graduate experience managing multi-disciplinary fast-track projects and project teams.
• Good team player with strong communication and organisation skills, good administrative ability and initiative.

Required skills

• Familiarity with commercial drawing software.
