Senior Executive – Shared Services HR for Faculty

About the role

The Senior Executive, Shared Services HR (Faculty) provides end‑to‑end HR operational and administrative support for the university’s faculty across appointed schools. The role focuses on appointment, reappointment, promotion & tenure, job changes and exit management, ensuring processes meet service level agreements with accuracy and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of faculty HR processes, including appointments, reappointments, promotions, tenure decisions, job changes and exits.
• Provide secretariat and administrative support to school‑level committees handling faculty appointments and promotions.
• Advise schools on HR policies, procedures and documentation requirements.
• Coordinate university‑wide meetings, handling logistics, minute‑taking and follow‑up actions.
• Maintain data integrity across HR systems and contribute to process improvement projects.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences, Business or related fields.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a service‑oriented mindset.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities, able to meet SLAs during peak periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using Adobe Acrobat for document handling.
• Familiarity with Workday HR system (advantageous).
