Senior Field Service Engineer - Power Systems, SEA

About the role

Rehlko, a global leader in energy resilience with a product range covering engines, generators, power conversion, UPS systems, EV components and microgrid controls, is looking for a Senior Field Service Engineer for its Power Systems business in Southeast Asia. The role leads on-site acceptance testing, commissioning, diagnosis, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance at customer sites, and trains and coaches junior service engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead on-site acceptance testing, commissioning, diagnosis, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance at customer sites
• Train, supervise and coach junior service engineers (internal and distributors) and provide technical support to distributors and end customers
• Investigate customer complaints and product failures, and investigate root causes of engine failures
• Provide after-sales technical support and site service to distributors and dealers, and evaluate their technical capability
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent equipment failures
• Create and maintain service reports, logs and documentation; drive continuous improvement in aftermarket processes
• Ensure all work follows safety regulations and company policies

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 10 years of relevant experience
• Fair amount of travel across the Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia region
• Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills and customer service orientation
• Enthusiasm for power generation products

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of genset service and preventive maintenance
• Test and commissioning in data centers
