Senior Finance Manager – Finance Controllership

About the role

As a Senior Finance Manager in the Finance Controllership function, you will lead all regional financial matters for Aspire’s Singapore hub and its international entities. You will ensure accurate regulatory reporting, compliance with IFRS and local GAAP, and provide strategic financial insight to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for all legal entities, ensuring IFRS/local GAAP compliance.
• Supervise day‑to‑day accounting operations, including payroll and taxation, through an outsourced accounting team.
• Coordinate statutory and regulatory audits with a Big 4 audit firm, managing end‑to‑end audit processes.
• Own end‑to‑end financial regulatory submissions for licensed entities, guaranteeing accuracy and timely filing.
• Oversee cash‑flow management, bank reconciliations, and client‑fund reporting in partnership with banks.
• Review product finance flows, ensuring proper invoicing, revenue recognition, and funding documentation.
• Present financial reports to executives, board members, investors, and other stakeholders.
• Co‑develop and execute the regional finance strategy with the leadership team.
• Collaborate with Treasury, Strategy & Planning, and Data teams to align data requirements and ensure timely delivery.
• Implement internal controls to maintain compliance with all financial and statutory regulations.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with a strong academic background.
• 7–9+ years of post‑qualification experience, preferably in fintech or financial services.
• Proven track record managing finance and accounting teams in a fast‑growing environment.
• Experience leading finance automation initiatives.
