Senior Flutter Developer

About the role

Our client, an established organisation, seeks a Senior Flutter Developer to design, build and maintain high‑quality applications for Android, iOS and Web. You will own feature delivery from architecture through production support, shaping technical decisions and mentoring the team.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable Flutter/Dart applications across mobile and web platforms.
• Own features end‑to‑end: design, implementation, testing, deployment and production support.
• Define clean, reusable architecture and components using patterns such as Clean Architecture or MVVM.
• Build complex UI, state management, navigation, API integrations and data‑driven features.
• Implement offline‑first functionality with local persistence, caching, synchronization and conflict handling.
• Manage file workflows including uploads, downloads, caching and retry/resume scenarios.
• Integrate REST APIs, authentication, push notifications, analytics and third‑party SDKs.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across Flutter, native platforms, web, networking and storage.
• Optimise performance: startup time, rendering, memory and network usage.
• Write and maintain unit, widget and integration tests; conduct code reviews.
• Collaborate with backend, product and design teams to translate requirements into reliable solutions.
• Mentor developers and contribute to engineering standards and technical decisions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software development experience with strong production experience in Flutter/Dart.
• Proven delivery of Flutter applications on iOS, Android and Web.
• Deep knowledge of Flutter internals, widget lifecycle, rendering, isolates and performance optimisation.
• Experience with architectural patterns such as Clean Architecture or MVVM.
• Hands‑on experience with state‑management frameworks (BLoC/Cubit, Riverpod, Provider, etc.).
• Experience with local persistence technologies (SQLite, Drift, Isar, Hive, etc.).
• Ability to design offline synchronization, retry mechanisms and connectivity‑aware workflows.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON serialisation, authentication and error handling.
• Familiarity with native Android/iOS concepts and Flutter platform channels.
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, crash reporting and monitoring.
• Excellent debugging and root‑cause analysis skills.
