Senior FP&A Analyst (APAC)

About the role

The Senior FP&A Analyst, APAC is a strategic finance business partner responsible for planning, forecasting, reporting and business performance management across the APAC region. Reporting to the Senior FP&A Manager, APAC, the role partners with regional leadership, country finance teams and US Corporate Finance. It is a highly visible individual contributor position with a hybrid work arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver timely, accurate actual close reporting, from variance analysis to coordinating local and global finance deliverables, and turn results into a clear narrative for senior management
• Lead the APAC quarterly forecast and annual budget end to end, including templates, guidance, timelines, data loads, system support and stakeholder follow-through
• Spot and implement ways to make the planning process more efficient
• Own standard reporting with high accuracy and timeliness, enhance regional reporting and identify opportunities for automation
• Lead ad hoc analysis such as divisional P&L profitability and pricing, and support global FP&A transformation projects
• Communicate with country finance teams, the Hong Kong Finance Center and the APAC FP&A team, and escalate issues promptly while handling confidential information professionally

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance or Financial Analysis, ideally in a multinational supporting regional or APAC finance
• Solid grounding in accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with a track record of turning data into business insights

Required skills

• Advanced Excel, including financial modelling and data analysis
• Hyperion/HFM, Encompass, Oracle, SAP, Anaplan or similar tools
• Power BI or other visualization tools preferred
