Senior Front-End Developer, Vice President

About the role

Citi Equities Technology is looking for a Senior Front-End Developer to join its Vice President team. You will work with front office, product development and other developers to deliver solutions that improve efficiency, reduce operational risk and help the business grow. The role is full time and requires eligibility to work in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain web applications using React and TypeScript, keeping code clean and maintainable.
• Manage application state with Redux and middleware such as Redux Toolkit.
• Ensure high test coverage by writing unit tests with Vitest.
• Write and maintain a suite of reusable UI components usable across feature apps.
• Contribute to application architecture and give input on front-end frameworks, design patterns and best practices.
• Perform code reviews and help ensure quality, maintainability and testability.
• Plan and schedule your own work and implement functionality without direct supervision.
• Work closely with teams to build a good working culture and adapt to different environments.

Required profile

• Minimum 7-10 years of relevant development experience.
• Experience with other backend programming languages and frameworks such as Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on HTML5, CSS3/SASS, core JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Hands-on React and React Hooks.
• Unit testing with Jest and React Testing Library.
• Application state management with Redux, Recoil and React Context.
• Reactive apps with RxJS, Web Sockets and Web Workers.
• Build tools such as Webpack or Vite, debugging, performance benchmarking and container-based development (Electron).
• RESTful APIs, JWT, Node.js and Express.js.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Confluence and MongoDB (querying).
• npm workspaces, micro-frontends, ESLint/TSLint.
• Docker management and OpenShift containers.
• Angular and other UI frameworks.
