Senior Frontend Engineer – Assistant Vice President

About the role

You will join the Equity Derivatives technology team in Singapore, building and maintaining high‑performing, scalable web applications that support trade capture and lifecycle platforms for the Global Equity Derivatives business. The role offers the chance to shape technical direction, own functional components and work closely with front‑office, operations and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain React/TypeScript web applications with clean, maintainable code.
• Manage state using Redux and Redux Toolkit, and implement middleware as needed.
• Write unit tests with Vitest and integration tests with Cypress to ensure high test coverage.
• Create reusable UI component libraries for use across Trade Management applications.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews and overall software quality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver impactful features.

Required profile

• 5‑6 years of professional frontend development experience, preferably in a financial services environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Required skills

• React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+)
• Redux and Redux Toolkit
• Cypress and Vitest for test‑driven development
• Responsive web design and CSS
• Node.js and Java Spring Boot for backend integration
• RESTful APIs, JSON and XML data formats
• Experience with relational databases (Sybase, SQL Server, Oracle) and NoSQL stores
• Familiarity with container platforms such as OpenShift or Kubernetes
