Senior Generative AI Strategist – Generative AI Innovation Center

About the role

Amazon Web Services is seeking a Senior Generative AI Strategist to lead industry‑specific programs within its Generative AI Innovation Center. The role partners with customers, AWS sales and service teams to drive business outcomes using generative AI, machine learning and advanced analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Align customers’ technology and business leaders, explore generative AI possibilities and create roadmaps that deliver measurable value.
• Engage with executives, line managers and technologists to discuss complex industry‑specific business concepts.
• Collaborate with AWS applied scientists, solutions architects, industry specialists, partners and regional teams.
• Drive large, complex sales opportunities from ideation through vision building, scoping, closure and delivery.
• Conduct workshops to identify and scope AI/ML use cases that generate business impact.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or 7 + years of professional or military experience.
• 7 + years of technical consulting experience designing, architecting and implementing serverless, distributed solutions.
• 5 + years of software development and data‑engineering experience, including object‑oriented programming.
• 3 + years of cloud‑based solution experience (AWS or equivalent).
• Proven track record of driving AI‑enabled business transformation and launching complex big‑data programs.
