Senior HR Business Partner – Performance & L&D Lead

About the role

Our client, a leading international maritime and logistics organization, is strengthening its people capabilities. They are seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to lead the design and implementation of Performance Management and Learning & Development frameworks across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Design and roll‑out a comprehensive Performance Management framework, covering goal setting, reviews, calibration and development planning.
• Establish clear performance processes, guidelines and tools to ensure consistency organization‑wide.
• Partner with senior leaders to embed a high‑performance culture and strengthen performance standards.
• Develop and implement a Learning & Development framework aligned with business and workforce needs.
• Conduct training needs analysis, identify capability gaps and design leadership, managerial and functional development programmes.
• Create structured career and employee development plans to support internal progression and succession planning.
• Define KPIs and reporting mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of performance and training initiatives.
• Collaborate with business leaders and HR stakeholders on broader organisational development and people initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development or a related discipline.
• Strong HR experience with expertise in Performance Management and Learning & Development, including building or redesigning frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to develop training programmes and capability‑building initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, with experience working with senior leadership.
• Comfortable operating both strategically and hands‑on with strong execution capabilities.
• Experience in a regional or multinational organisation; maritime, logistics or related industry experience is a plus.
