Senior IT Business Analyst - SAP ECC Warehousing & Logistics

About the role

Medtronic's Global Operations and Supply Chain value stream covers the plan, build and run of its applications, and the Global IT Deliver team is responsible for the Warehousing, Transportation, Dangerous Goods and Trade Compliance systems. It is looking for a senior-level IT Business Analyst to design and configure these applications, mainly on SAP ECC modules LE and WM, with a strong background in SAP configuration and design specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with business stakeholders to understand and evaluate current processes and turn them into system requirements.
• Write functional specifications and support development teams during implementation, including testing and quality documentation.
• Deploy new and current systems, processes and procedures in a cost-effective way.
• Configure system settings and plan and run unit, system and integration tests, leading cross-functional teams on enhancements for SAP ECC (mainly SAP LE-WM).
• Keep up with industry trends on customs, trade compliance and emerging technologies and assess their impact on IT and business processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field; master's degree preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, IT Technical Analyst, SAP consultant or SAP implementation project member, preferably with a focus on warehousing and distribution.
• Experience with full-cycle SAP implementation projects and with facilitating small to large groups in challenging discussions.
• Excellent English communication and collaboration skills with global cross-functional teams.

Required skills

• Solid business process knowledge of SAP ECC Sales and Distribution, Order Fulfilment, Logistics Execution and Warehouse Management.
• SAP customization (SPRO) for Logistics Execution, Inventory Management and Warehouse Management.
• Inter- and intra-company processes and third-party purchases via EDI interfaces.
• Understanding of IT change processes and SAP solution delivery processes, and general knowledge of supply chain processes.
• Nice to have: SAP certifications on LE, WM or other SAP systems; SAP GTS; SAP S/4HANA (eWM); global SAP implementation experience; medical technology sector experience; SAP Solution Manager, Rev Track and change documentation.
