Senior Learning Strategist – Centre for Innovation in Learning

About the role

The National Institute of Education (NIE) is seeking a Senior Learning Strategist to join its Centre for Innovation in Learning. Reporting to the Learning Strategist Manager, you will partner with faculty to design and deliver cutting‑edge blended learning experiences and provide strategic guidance on digital teaching practices. This is a two‑year contract position based in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Research adult learning theories, strategies and educational technology tools to create impactful face‑to‑face and online workshops for faculty.
• Assess learning needs of IN‑Learning specialists and design initiatives that build expertise in learning design and emerging technology.
• Collaborate with faculty to identify course learning needs, propose new outcomes, tech‑enabled teaching strategies and appropriate assessments, and ensure constructive alignment.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to analyse faculty capability data and develop learner‑centred blended learning solutions.
• Present evidence‑based design solutions to stakeholders and contribute to continuous improvement of teaching practice.

Required profile

• Strong background in pedagogy, adult education or higher‑education learning design.
• Experience facilitating workshops and training sessions for academic staff.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct research, analyse data and translate findings into practical design recommendations.
• Commitment to staying current with best practices in higher‑education and educational technology.
