Senior Legal Consultant

About the role

As a Senior Legal Consultant you will join the LEGO Group’s newly created Tax & Legal Operations team, supporting legal services across APAC and China. You will work on‑site in China, Vietnam or Singapore, helping to protect the brand while enabling efficient contract and compliance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts covering manufacturing, procurement, sales and marketing across APAC jurisdictions.
• Ensure contracts align with corporate policies, internal standards and local legal frameworks, escalating material risks when necessary.
• Manage end‑to‑end contract lifecycle for sales‑related and other agreements, driving standardisation through playbooks, templates and legal‑tech improvements.
• Support corporate secretarial duties for LEGO entities throughout the region, maintaining governance and compliance.
• Communicate complex legal concepts clearly to non‑legal stakeholders to facilitate informed decisions.
• Contribute to legal‑operations initiatives such as automation, contract analytics and process optimisation.

Required profile

• Extensive experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts across multiple business areas.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Vietnamese law, including contract drafting and regulatory compliance.
• Hands‑on experience managing contract lifecycle processes.
• Familiarity with corporate secretarial matters and entity governance across jurisdictions.
• Strong collaborative mindset and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
