Senior Lift Technician (Lift Maintenance)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Lift Technician to lead routine maintenance, safety checks and emergency repairs of vertical transportation systems. The role involves ensuring lifts operate safely and efficiently while supporting junior technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance, servicing and safety inspections in line with regulatory standards and internal protocols.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical and system faults to minimise downtime.
• Perform repairs and replace lift components as required.
• Respond to emergency service calls, including breakdowns and malfunctions.
• Maintain accurate digital service reports, logs and maintenance records using the GOfm application.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in lift maintenance, servicing or repair.
• NITEC in Built Environment (Vertical Transport) or a Certificate of Competency in Lift Maintenance.
• Completed safety training such as Construction Safety Orientation Course and Work‑At‑Height.
• Ability to work at heights and handle manual tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication skills for interaction with clients and team members.

Required skills

• Lift system troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
• Mechanical and electrical repair of lift components.
• Use of remote monitoring and diagnostic tools (RM&D).
• Experience with predictive maintenance systems (LPMS) and IoT‑driven lift maintenance.
• Digital documentation using the GOfm application.
