Senior Maintenance Technician – Building Systems

About the role

As a CBRE Maintenance Senior Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining medium to large‑sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. The position is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function, providing support, preventive maintenance and repairs on building equipment and systems.

Key responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair on mechanical, electrical and other building systems.
• Conduct routine inspections, diagnose potential problems and execute repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Assign work orders, estimate time and materials, and support energy management to ensure efficient operation.
• Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

Required profile

• High School Diploma, GED or trade school diploma with 2‑3 years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Ability to meet physical demands such as stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders and lifting/carrying loads of 50 lb or more.
• Strong organizational skills, inquisitive mindset and ability to follow standardized procedures.
