Senior Manager, Business Recruiting

About the role

Datadog is looking for a Senior Manager, Business Recruiting in Singapore. The role leads recruiting teams, drives hiring strategy and partners with HR teams and leaders. It carries recruiting subject matter expertise for the global organisation and builds, scales and structures recruiting teams for growth.

Key responsibilities

• Hire and develop high-performing teams, set objectives and lead teams to reach quarterly hiring goals and OKRs
• Coach teams to build diverse talent pipelines and foster close relationships with active and passive candidates
• Work on strategic or leadership-level roles when needed
• Keep up with recruiting trends and run training sessions for recruiters and leaders on sourcing, interviewing, profile identification and process workflows
• Support individual contributors and in-team leaders through coaching and mentoring, and set a standard of principled leadership
• Use funnel metrics to drive change and address resource and operational challenges, keeping the process fast, efficient and human

Required profile

• 8+ years of full-lifecycle recruiting experience, including 4+ years leading recruiting teams
• People manager with mid-sized teams who mentors and develops others
• Strong cross-team collaboration and stakeholder management
• Able to sell value propositions, negotiate and close candidates, and act with urgency across the recruiting cycle
• Able to pivot to changing business needs using data to identify and drive change
