Senior Manager, Corporate Communications

About the role

Senior Manager, Corporate Communications will lead the development and execution of integrated communications strategies that enhance SJ’s brand, reputation and market positioning. Reporting to the Director, Global Communications, the role acts as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and oversees executive communications, media relations, thought leadership and industry positioning across the Group.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement corporate communications strategies that strengthen SJ’s brand and reputation.
• Partner with senior leaders on executive messaging, speeches, presentations and strategic announcements.
• Build and maintain media relationships, identify opportunities to raise SJ’s profile and manage media enquiries and interviews.
• Lead thought‑leadership initiatives and position SJ’s leaders as trusted voices in the built environment sector.
• Oversee participation in industry events, sponsorships, partnerships, conferences and speaking opportunities, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
• Provide Group‑wide oversight of awards, rankings and recognition programmes to enhance market profile.
• Maintain a consolidated view of industry engagement activities across the Group.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate communications, media relations and executive communications.
• Strong ability to advise senior leadership and craft strategic messaging.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a track record of thought‑leadership content.
• Demonstrated capability to manage multi‑stakeholder projects and coordinate across global teams.
