Senior Manager, Global Ethics & Compliance

About the role

Edwards Lifesciences is looking for a Senior Manager, Global Ethics & Compliance in Singapore. The role drives a high-integrity culture by partnering with commercial and cross-functional teams, and oversees end-to-end review and approval of interactions with healthcare professionals and healthcare organizations so they align with global policies, local regulations and industry codes.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with commercial and cross-functional teams to provide solution-oriented counseling, optimize local compliance rules and SOPs, and develop and deliver role-based compliance training materials and a training plan
• Drive compliance ownership across the organization through compliance champion programs
• Review and approve HCP/HCO interactions and activities, support global risk assessments, risk analysis and monitoring plans, and drive remediation actions to close gaps
• Monitor compliance with policies and procedures, develop complex testing, templates and metrics for tracking and trending, and guide internal stakeholders
• Support and coordinate internal audits and complete remediation actions, and collaborate with the Global team to optimize transparency disclosures

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 5 years of experience in contract or bid management
• Relevant experience in healthcare compliance, legal or internal audit
• Direct healthcare experience in pharma or medical devices, or healthcare-focused audit/compliance experience at Big 4 accounting firms or law firms
• Fluent English (conversation and writing); Korean speaking ability preferred

Required skills

• Expert understanding of effective compliance program standards and extensive knowledge of legal, regulatory and industry landscape requirements
• Extensive knowledge of industry code requirements
• Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Good written and verbal communication, problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
