Legal Counsel

About the role

Arros AI, a technology company focused on artificial intelligence solutions, is hiring a full-time Legal Counsel in Singapore. The role provides expert legal advice and guidance on matters affecting the company, covering contracts, compliance, litigation and intellectual property.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice and guidance on a wide range of legal matters affecting the company.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, agreements and other legal documents to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify and mitigate legal risks related to business operations and strategic initiatives.
• Manage and oversee external legal counsel and coordinate legal strategies for litigation and dispute resolution.
• Stay up to date on legal developments and industry trends to address potential legal issues proactively.
• Develop and implement legal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal standards.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support decision-making and provide strategic legal insights.
• Advise on intellectual property matters, including patents, trademarks and copyrights, to protect the company's assets.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate law, preferably within the technology or AI industry.
• Proven track record of managing complex legal projects and providing strategic legal advice.
• High ethical standards and integrity in handling confidential information.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of contract law, intellectual property law and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
