Senior Manager, Global Facilities Central Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical & I&C)

About the role

Micron Technology is seeking a senior leader to head the Multi‑Discipline Engineering team responsible for mechanical, electrical and instrumentation & controls (I&C) across its semiconductor manufacturing sites in the United States and Asia. The role drives global standardisation, innovation, reliability and sustainability for all facility projects and sustaining activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a multi‑disciplinary engineering team covering mechanical, electrical and I&C domains.
• Provide expert technical guidance for design, construction, start‑up, operation and maintenance of semiconductor fab facilities.
• Develop and execute strategic plans that align with global facilities priorities and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee large‑scale greenfield fab design and construction projects in the U.S. and Asia.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
• Support recruitment, training, staffing and retention initiatives for the engineering function.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in semiconductor facilities engineering, covering mechanical, electrical and I&C systems.
• Proven track record of leading multi‑disciplinary teams in a global, multi‑site environment.
• Strong strategic planning, project execution and continuous‑improvement skills.
• Ability to coach, mentor and develop engineering talent.
