Senior Manager, Operations Strategy

About the role

Airwallex, the AI-native financial operating system used by more than 675,000 businesses, is hiring a Senior Manager, Operations Strategy in Singapore. The role leads high-impact, data-driven projects across the full lifecycle of product domains, working cross-functionally to improve operations and customer experience. It sits within the Operations team, which drives customer experience and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and drive strategic projects that analyse each product domain's lifecycle and deliver continuous operational improvements.
• Use data for customer experience analysis of top enterprise clients, specific verticals (e.g., OTA, Payroll) and other key segments.
• Work with Product, Customer Success, Engineering and others to align stakeholders and deliver business outcomes.
• Prepare and update project materials for senior leadership, covering progress, goals, risks and dependencies.
• Handle special projects and ad-hoc requests, including deep dives on issues raised by leadership or functional teams.
• Monitor and report on KPIs with actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in operations strategy.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience, including top-tier strategy/management consulting and preferably a fast-growing tech startup.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, especially with Product and Customer Success teams.
• Self-starter who prioritises opportunities, with excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Preferred: experience in technology, financial services or a high-growth environment; entrepreneurial mindset and success orientation.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with data analysis tools such as SQL, Looker and Tableau (preferred).
• Experience working closely with product teams and influencing product development (preferred).
