Senior Manager, People and Organisation Development (Capability Development)

About the role

Woodlands Hospital, part of NHG, is a next-generation integrated acute and community hospital in Singapore. The Senior Manager, People and Organisation Development leads the development of a Learning Health System by shaping and implementing its learning strategy, building a workforce with the skills, mindsets and confidence needed in an evolving healthcare landscape. The role drives tech-enabled learning solutions, a culture of self-directed learning and data-driven capability building.

Key responsibilities

• Translate people development and leadership strategies into organisation-wide learning solutions and interventions supporting workforce planning and capability building.
• Evaluate learning impact using measurement frameworks, analytics and evidence-based approaches.
• Act as an internal learning consultant and lead digital learning platforms, AI-enabled tools, microlearning and immersive learning technologies.
• Design learning programmes based on instructional design and adult learning best practices, and run workshops and train-the-trainer programmes.
• Partner with HR, Operations and Family Groups, and build partnerships with academic institutions, learning providers and industry bodies.
• Manage vendors, negotiate agreements and share emerging trends in learning technologies and methodologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• 6-8 years of progressive Learning & Development experience, including 1-3 years in strategic or leadership roles.
• Experience in healthcare or similar complex environments is advantageous.
• Advanced project management skills to lead multiple large-scale initiatives.
