Senior Manager - Process Development CMP/BTG, NAND

About the role

Micron is hiring a Senior Manager for Process Development covering CMP and BTG processes for 3D NAND, based at Fab 10N/X in Singapore. The role leads a team of CMP and BTG engineers and drives process module development, from characterization and integration through to high-volume manufacturing transfer.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, hire, mentor and develop a team of CMP and BTG engineers, giving regular feedback and career development.
• Own CMP and BTG process module development, including process characterization, integration, margin improvement and manufacturability for 3D NAND nodes.
• Drive process development activities aligned with the technology development roadmap, with timely delivery of robust, scalable solutions.
• Work with Process Integration, Manufacturing Development, Equipment Engineering and global TD teams to meet integration requirements.
• Lead transfer of processes to high-volume manufacturing, supporting pilot ramp, yield improvement and long-term stability.
• Run DOE-based experiments and data-driven methods to optimize performance, expand process window and reduce cost.
• Implement advanced monitoring and control strategies, and promote safety and IP protection.
• Lead process simplification, cost reduction and productivity initiatives, and partner with equipment and materials suppliers on qualification and roadmaps.
• Adopt data analytics, AI and machine learning to improve process understanding and enable predictive modeling.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics or a related engineering field.
• At least 8 years of semiconductor process development experience, with strong expertise in CMP and/or BTG processes.
• At least 3 years leading or supervising engineering teams, with a reputation as a mentor and technical expert among current reports.
• Thorough technical knowledge of CMP processes and their integration/structural impacts; BTG experience highly preferred.
• Experience working with suppliers, transferring processes to manufacturing and supporting ramp and yield improvement.
• Must be based in Singapore.
