About the role
We are looking for a Senior Manager – Strategic Clients to lead the design and execution of large‑scale cloud deals across Oracle’s strategic accounts. The role combines strategic thinking, deal architecture expertise and the ability to mentor teams worldwide, ensuring repeatable, high‑quality bid processes from kickoff to final presentation.
Key responsibilities
- Drive efficiency and speed of deal formation while maximizing revenue, profitability and win rates for strategic cloud opportunities.
- Build and maintain a repository of high‑impact propositions reusable across sales teams.
- Assist with non‑standard, sophisticated deal structuring and cross‑functional teamwork, ensuring compliance with revenue recognition requirements.
- Manage resourcing and support for global deals based on forecasts from Sales Finance.
- Establish metrics and processes to improve visibility and consistency across geographies.
- Facilitate collaboration with senior leaders in Consulting, Commercial, Contracts, Migrations and other Oracle units.
- Provide frameworks and facilitation to enable account teams to produce high‑quality customer‑facing materials for cloud transformation programs.
- Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement of bidding practices.
Required profile
- Proven leadership experience in strategic sales or cloud‑focused deal management.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities with a track record of delivering complex, high‑value contracts.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to mentor and develop global teams in deal architecture and bid processes.
- Experience working in fast‑moving, multinational environments.
