About the role
Shape the capacity decisions behind ResMed’s future global supply network as Senior Manager, Strategic Network Planning. You will lead the development of an integrated 18‑month to five‑year capacity planning capability, linking demand forecasts with manufacturing and supply network decisions to support sustainable, profitable growth.
Key responsibilities
- Lead long‑range capacity planning, creating an integrated outlook across key manufacturing and supply network nodes.
- Translate long‑term demand forecasts and business scenarios into clear capacity requirements, constraints, risks and opportunities.
- Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis to assess the impact of changing demand, capacity assumptions and network constraints.
- Evaluate capacity sufficiency, identify future gaps, bottlenecks and investment needs before they limit growth.
- Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial and other functions to align assumptions and establish an integrated view of future capacity needs.
- Establish and continuously improve long‑range planning processes and decision cadences, connecting strategic planning with broader supply chain activities.
- Lead cross‑functional supply chain projects, converting strategic priorities into structured plans, coordinated actions and measurable outcomes.
- Present complex analysis as clear insights and recommendations to senior leaders.
Required profile
- Significant experience in supply chain planning, strategic planning, capacity planning or manufacturing strategy in a complex global environment.
- Strong end‑to‑end understanding of how demand, supply, capacity, inventory and manufacturing planning connect to inform business decisions.
- Proven supply chain project management capability, leading complex cross‑functional initiatives.
- Business acumen with ability to evaluate strategic choices beyond operational measures.
- Experience in scenario planning and quantitative analysis, translating data into practical business insights.
- Excellent stakeholder communication, influence and storytelling skills, including presenting to senior leaders.
- Ability to work across functions and geographies, align diverse perspectives and enable decisions in ambiguous environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, operations, business, finance or related discipline.
