Senior Operations Manager - Incoming Repair Scoping

About the role

Gevernova is looking for a Senior Operations Manager for Incoming Repair Scoping (also called Cell Leader) to lead incoming inspection and repair scoping operations and act as the main operational contact for customers during the scoping process. The role drives end-to-end cell performance on Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost (SQDC), meets production output and budget targets, turnaround time and continuous flow, and strengthens customer engagement and satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Safety and quality: champion safety first and quality always through EHS compliance, risk mitigation and root cause problem solving.
• Production and delivery: lead the production team to meet output targets, budget and SQDC performance, and manage capacity, manpower, productivity and costs.
• Customer engagement: act as the main operational focal point for customers, own their communication, delivery commitments and escalations, host visits and gather feedback.
• Incoming Lean Lines: partner with the Lean team to build and run incoming lean lines, run Kaizen events and use data and digital tools to improve flow.
• Turnaround time and downstream flow: own the scoping turnaround time, manage aging WIP and coordinate with repair Cell Leaders, Material Management and Planning.
• People leadership: build and develop a high-performing production team, including performance management and succession planning.
• Daily management: lead gemba and tiered management reviews and collaborate across engineering, quality, planning, commercial and other functions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 to 12+ years of experience in manufacturing, repair operations, MRO or similar industrial operations.
• Proven track record leading production teams and delivering output, productivity and financial targets.
• Experience in gas turbine, aerospace, MRO or precision component repair preferred.
