Senior Physiotherapist - NUHS@Home

About the role

NUHS@Home, a healthcare initiative of the National University Health System, is looking for a Senior Physiotherapist to play a key role in its Hospital-at-Home programme. The role is flexible, available as full or part-time, and lets you practice at the top of your licence. It involves assessing and managing patients referred for physiotherapy independently, reporting to the referring doctor and other members of the medical team, and documenting patient records accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients referred for physiotherapy independently and implement appropriate treatment plans
• Report to the referring doctor and other members of the medical team
• Document patient physiotherapy records accurately and charge patients accurately
• Comply with clinical and service standards and practise within your area of professional competence, seeking clinical support when needed
• Collaborate with other healthcare members and take part in case conferences
• Help co-lead projects and activities supporting the department's and organisation's goals
• Manage and oversee therapy equipment inventory
• Contribute to in-service training, home hospital talks and external talks, workshops, seminars and forums
• Help develop and implement protocols and guidelines for hospital-at-home care, and review and update clinical protocols and SOPs
• Help promote clinical services and assist in the induction of new physiotherapists
• Supervise students on clinical attachments and embrace continuous professional development

Required profile

• Full AHPC registration
• Diploma or degree in Physiotherapy
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Service-oriented, customer-focused, motivated and self-driven
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team
• Passion for transforming traditional healthcare models through innovative care delivery
