About the role

Tencent Cloud is looking for an experienced, technically strong Senior Solution Architect to support its cloud business expansion in Singapore. The role designs scalable, secure and industry-aligned cloud architectures for enterprise customers and works closely with sales, product and engineering teams, from pre-sales engagement through delivery. It also represents Tencent Cloud at industry events.

Key responsibilities

• Design and architect custom cloud solutions aligned with customer objectives, ensuring scalability, security and performance.
• Work with customers to understand their technical requirements, industry regulations and operational constraints, and turn them into solution designs and execution plans.
• Act as technical liaison between customers and engineering teams, communicating requirements, monitoring milestones and mitigating risks.
• Support pre-sales activities such as technical presentations, solution demos, architecture workshops and proof-of-concept initiatives, including rapid, hands-on architecture and MVP builds for AI Agent use cases.
• Represent Tencent Cloud at industry forums, technical workshops and ecosystem events.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field.
• At least 5 years of experience in public cloud pre-sales or solution architecture, preferably in Internet and Financial Services.
• Strong written and spoken English; Mandarin Chinese is required because about 50% of the role involves collaboration with China headquarters.
• Proactive, execution-driven, with strong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.

Required skills

• Strong cloud computing knowledge, especially virtualization technologies such as KVM, Xen or LXC.
• Hands-on AI Agent delivery is a strong plus: zero-to-one deployment experience and the ability to build an AI Agent MVP in days.
• Comfort with modern AI-assisted coding and development tools is preferred.
• Solid understanding of system architecture fundamentals.
