Senior Production Scheduler – Drug Product Operations

About the role

You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing production schedules for a state‑of‑the‑art aseptic manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Department Head of Commercial DP, you will coordinate across Manufacturing, MSAT, Warehouse, QC, QA, Supply Chain, and Project teams to ensure efficient execution of campaigns, technology transfers, validation activities, and commercial manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain short‑term and long‑term production schedules for commercial manufacturing, validation, engineering, and technology transfer activities.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure schedules are feasible and executable.
• Monitor progress, identify bottlenecks, and resolve capacity constraints.
• Optimize utilization of equipment, cleanrooms, personnel, and supporting resources.
• Support startup planning and readiness for new manufacturing lines.
• Track availability of materials, single‑use systems, and consumables.
• Facilitate production planning meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Generate metrics such as schedule adherence, facility utilization, and on‑time delivery.
• Prepare forecasts and scenario analyses for capacity planning.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, quality requirements, and audit readiness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Business, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
• Relevant certification such as APICS/CPIM is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Experience using MES and production scheduling software.
• Knowledge of cGMP regulations.
• Capacity planning and scenario analysis.
