Senior Project Engineer

About the role

The Senior Project Engineer will act as the on‑site leader for Building Management System (BMS) projects, overseeing planning, execution and hand‑over to customers. You will coordinate with clients, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, budget and schedule and manage multiple small‑to‑medium projects simultaneously.
• Lead communication with customers throughout all project phases.
• Supervise subcontractors, schedule material deliveries and ensure compliance with codes, QA/QC policies and performance specifications.
• Identify risks, propose resolutions and manage variation orders.
• Control costs, track financial commitments and report progress to supervisors.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports and tender bids.
• Conduct on‑site quality audits and oversee commissioning activities.
• Support first‑year maintenance warranty visits and hand‑over to service teams.

Required profile

• Degree in engineering or a related field.
• Minimum three years of hands‑on experience in BMS project delivery.
• Proven ability to work odd hours when project deadlines require.
• Strong interaction skills with clients, consultants and subcontractors.

Required skills

• BMS project implementation methodology.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Microsoft Project.
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
• Cost control and variation order management.
• QA/QC procedures and compliance monitoring.
