Senior Project Manager - Critical Facilities

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale, mission-critical infrastructure development in Singapore. The role covers design, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning, handover and defects management, with significant coordination across multidisciplinary consultants, contractors, authorities and specialist systems. Experience with government, critical infrastructure, data centre, defence/security, high-security or other mission-critical developments is particularly relevant.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as primary project lead, managing the project from inception through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, handover and the defects liability period
• Manage relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and authorities, chair meetings and prepare regular project reports and dashboards
• Lead multidisciplinary design teams (architectural, structural, MEP, ICT, security and specialist systems) and drive Security-by-Design, resilience, blast protection, sustainability and Design for Maintainability
• Oversee design reviews, statutory submissions, approvals and regulatory compliance
• Develop and monitor the master programme, manage risks, issues and dependencies, and run change control and value engineering
• Lead tender preparation, contractor selection and award recommendations, and administer construction contracts, variations and claims
• Monitor construction progress, quality and health and safety, coordinate installation interfaces and lead testing, commissioning and handover
• Support statutory inspections, authority approvals and sustainability certification, including BCA-IMDA Green Mark Platinum where applicable

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline
• Substantial experience delivering large-scale, technically complex building or infrastructure developments
• Proven experience coordinating architectural, structural, MEP, ICT, security and specialist systems
• Experience with mission-critical, highly secure or operationally resilient environments is highly advantageous
• Familiarity with Security-by-Design, statutory requirements and sustainability standards is advantageous
