Senior Project Manager - Data Centre

About the role

Turner & Townsend, a global professional services company with over 22,000 people in more than 60 countries, is hiring a Senior Project Manager for data centre projects in Singapore. The role covers project planning, execution, stakeholder coordination, procurement of consultants and reporting, and is offered on a contract basis.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall project management so that quality, cost, statutory compliance, safety, environmental standards and scheduling are met.
• Manage the master programme, including materials and long lead items, and update weekly work plans, look-ahead schedules and inspection timelines.
• Plan and organise statutory inspections and ensure timely approvals.
• Monitor progress and quality with site teams and contractors, and support project administration, documentation and reporting.
• Oversee external consultants and multidisciplinary teams, act as liaison between internal stakeholders and consultants, and lead regular progress meetings.
• Manage the full procurement process for consultants, including drafting scopes, evaluating bids and negotiating contracts, in line with internal policies and governance.
• Produce project reports covering updates, risks, decisions and action items, and prepare schedules using Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 or Excel.
• Support junior team members, help onboarding, and coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers.

Required profile

• Degree in Construction, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' experience managing commercial office, retail or showroom fit-out projects internationally.
• Proven experience leading small to medium-sized construction projects of low to medium complexity.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; fluency in English required.
