Senior QA/QC & Maintenance Engineer (Construction)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior QA/QC & Maintenance Engineer to lead quality assurance and control activities on construction projects. The role involves developing and maintaining QA/QC procedures, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with Singapore construction regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain project QA/QC procedures, inspection plans and documentation.
• Conduct material inspections, review method statements and ensure works meet project specifications and QP/RTO requirements.
• Prepare and execute Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), checklists and quality‑related forms.
• Perform site inspections with consultants, client representatives and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, Site Engineers, Safety team and subcontractors to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Review shop drawings, material submissions and method statements, and resolve technical issues.
• Prepare NCRs, CARs and follow up on closure; maintain audit‑ready documentation.
• Produce weekly and monthly quality reports for management and client review.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 2–5 years of QA/QC experience in the construction industry, preferably with main contractors.
• Strong knowledge of BCA standards, CONQUAS, Quality Mark and Singapore construction codes.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, inspection procedures and material quality requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
