Senior Quality Surveyor

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Quality Surveyor to lead quantity surveying and commercial activities for EPC construction projects from the pre‑contract stage through to completion. The role involves close collaboration with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure cost‑effective delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage quantity surveying and commercial activities for EPC projects, from pre‑contract to project close‑out.
• Prepare and review cost estimates, budgets, tender documents, Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and subcontract packages.
• Handle subcontractor tendering, evaluation, negotiation, award and contract administration.
• Prepare and assess progress claims, variation orders, contractual claims and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs, cash flow and forecasts; produce regular commercial reports for management.
• Identify contractual and commercial risks and support the team in managing claims and variations.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams on contractual and cost‑related matters.

Required profile

• Diploma or higher qualification in Quantity Surveying, Building, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with a main contractor, EPC contractor or quantity surveying consultancy.
• Experience on large‑scale infrastructure, industrial, oil & gas or building projects is an advantage.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to work independently while coordinating with project, engineering, procurement and construction teams.
