Senior Quantity Surveyor – Bonus & Transport Allowance

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team in Singapore. You will be responsible for managing cost control, contract administration, and procurement while ensuring smooth project cash flow and timely progress reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Administer contracts with clients, consultants, and subcontractors, ensuring all parties understand their obligations.
• Source subcontractors and suppliers, obtain quotations, conduct cost comparisons, and raise purchase orders.
• Prepare and submit progress claims, evaluate subcontractor claims, and issue payment vouchers.
• Track monthly cost reports, update cash‑flow status, and provide financial insights to the project manager.
• Identify and claim variations, review architect instructions, and assess time‑and‑cost impacts.
• Coordinate site meetings, support the site team, and compile documents for monthly progress reports.
• Perform accurate quantity take‑offs and measurements for claim preparation.
• Finalize project and trade‑specific final accounts and advise on settlement.
• Mentor junior staff and lead the quantity surveying team.

Required profile

• Senior executive level with proven experience in quantity surveying on construction projects.
• Strong understanding of contract administration, procurement, and cost reporting.
• Ability to manage cash flow, progress claims, and final account settlements.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Leadership capability to guide and develop junior team members.
