Senior Research Fellow – Bioinformatics (Aging Studies)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Senior Research Fellow to join the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine’s research team in Singapore. The role focuses on advancing ageing research in Asian populations through large‑scale multi‑omics bioinformatics analyses.

Key responsibilities

• Provide bioinformatics analyses for genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics and lipidomics datasets.
• Design, implement and troubleshoot high‑throughput data analysis pipelines.
• Perform data cleaning, integration, statistical analysis and interpretation of complex biological data.
• Develop and maintain data management workflows ensuring data quality, integrity, security and ethical compliance.
• Coordinate multiple sub‑studies, manage research datasets and contribute to reports, presentations and scientific publications.
• Collaborate with internal and external cross‑disciplinary teams to achieve project milestones.
• Stay updated with emerging bioinformatics tools and methodologies.

Required profile

• Motivated researcher with experience in bioinformatics and multi‑omics data.
• Ability to manage and organise large research datasets.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders.
